The choir's summer workshop will be a chance to come and enjoy singing together in an enjoyable day of song leading to an informal concert in the afternoon. You will spend the day learning fun new songs in a range of styles - no previous experience necessary (no music reading or auditions requires), and you don't need to be an existing member of the choir to join! There will be breaks throughout the day, including a bring and share lunch. Finally, we will head down to the precinct area for an informal performance of the songs we have been learning throughout the day.
This fun, relaxed and friendly event will be a great chance for existing choir members to get together and sing over the summer, and an opportunity for those who haven't sung with the group before to give it a try!
Timings:
10:30 - 11:30am - warm up and begin learning songs
11:30 - 11:45 - break
11:45 - 12:45 - continue learning songs
12:45 - 1:30 - bring and share lunch (sharing optional, you're welcome to just bring your own if you prefer!)

3:00 - informal performance of the songs we've been learning throughout the day
